Returns & Refunds

At Butterfly Effects Co., we want you to love your purchase. Since many of our items are handmade, unique, or custom, please read our policy carefully to understand what is and isn’t returnable.

Return Eligibility
  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused and in original condition.

  • Custom or personalized items are not returnable.

Return Process
  1. Contact us via email or contact form within 30 days of delivery to request a return. Include your order number and reason for return.

  2. Once approved, you will receive instructions for returning the item.

  3. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.

  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days to process after we receive your return.

Lost or Damaged Packages
  • If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us within 7 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date).

  • We may request photos and/or carrier confirmation.

  • After investigating with the carrier, we may provide a replacement (if available), refund, or store credit, at our discretion.

  • We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by the shipping carrier once the package is in transit.

Exchanges
  • We do not offer direct exchanges for one-of-a-kind or custom items.

  • If you want a replacement item, it must be returned first under the return process, and a new order must be placed.
